SPLIT Days Recording

This window, which stands for "Shared Parental Leave in Touch" days, enables the employee to input days worked while on Shared Parental Leave without bringing the period of leave to an end.

Rules and Guidelines

  • An employee on ShPP could be asked to attend at work for up to 20 days of SPLIT (Shared Parental Leave In Touch days) during their period of booked Shared Parental Leave.
  • The dates entered must be after the start date and before the end date of the Shared Parental (ShPP) Leave period/s.
  • The payment for SPLIT days does not preclude the employee from receiving payment Shared Parental Leave (ShPP) for the same day/week.
  • If the employee exceeds the allowance of 20 days, the week in which the 21st day occurs will no longer be qualified for ShPP.
  • This is for record purposes only; the payment for such dates will depend on the agreement between the employee and the employer.
